IBM announces intent to acquire Instana, bringing automated Application Performance Monitoring and O

    Dec 1, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM (ET)
IBM announces intent to acquire Instana, bringing automated Application Performance Monitoring and Observability capabilities to Watson AIOPs and hybrid cloud management

    Summary

Join us for a live discussion and demonstration about Instana, a company IBM recently signed an agreement to acquire, and why this is important for AIOps and hybrid cloud management. Modern DevOps team need to be freed from burdens of handling unplanned issues caused by either gaps in their monitoring coverage, or lack of context or granularity into their monitoring data.

Instana technology is designed to make the life of IT Ops teams, Development teams and DevOps teams easier and more efficient by automating this task, providing wide coverage, and empowering teams with ability to perform ad-hoc queries to get an ability to observe their entire application stack. Instana is a leader in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and the emerging observability market focusing on modern software applications.

With the acquisition of Instana, IBM is helping companies overcome the challenge of managing application performance across multiple teams, and across multiple clouds. It is another example of how IBM is building on its AI-powered automation capabilities.

Apply AI to IT to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and drive meaningful innovation webinar

    Dec 7, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM (ET)
    Summary

Managing Applications and IT infrastructure has never been as important or complex as it is today. IT is often referred to as the central nervous system of an organization, underscoring the urgent need to ensure the resiliency of business-critical applications.  Yet SREs and IT Operators are overwhelmed with data and struggle to identify the insights needed to resolve and prevent problems.  A new approach is needed - one that leverages AI to collect and aggregate the huge and ever-increasing volumes of operations data generated by multiple IT infrastructure components, applications, and monitoring tools.

Join this session to learn how Watson AIOps provides an AI-powered application that utilizes data and evidence from across your applications and IT landscape to surface the most mission-critical events to your cross-functional teams where they work (e.g. ChatOps), helping clients free valuable talent for innovation by up-skilling IT operators with AI-powered insights.

AI-powered IT incident resolution application, fueled by your own data webinar

    Dec 14, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM (ET)
    Summary

Hybrid IT environments produce an immense amount of data, that can pose a difficult management challenge for even the most skilled ITOps teams.  ITOps teams need to diagnose root causes and report them to IT for rapid response and remediation—or, in some cases, automatically resolve these issues without human intervention.  By replacing multiple separate, manual IT operations tools with a single, intelligent, and automated IT operations platform, AIOps enables IT operations teams to respond more quickly—even proactively—to slowdowns and outages, with a lot less effort.

Join this session to see how Watson AIOps bridges the gap between an increasingly diverse, dynamic, and difficult-to-monitor IT landscape, on the one hand, and user expectations for little or no interruption in application performance and availability, on the other. Come to this session to hear IBM experts share what makes Watson AIOps the future of IT operations management.
